6 Website Pages To Include In Your Online Boutique

The information you share on your boutique website can make a huge difference when it comes to making or breaking a sale.

Since your mode of interaction with your customer is YOUR website, it's important to provide answers to all the questions your customer maybe thinking about. Think of your website as your best salesgirl who has alll the answers & makes your customer feel safe, trusted & excited to buy from YOU.

So What are the 6 Website Pages To Include In Your Online Boutique?

  • ABOUT US

People love to know who they are shopping from. We've all heard the famous quote by Simon Sinek - People don't buy what you sell, they buy WHY you sell it.. ABOUT US page is the best way to showcase your WHY and boost about yourself. Don't be shy girl!!! Shine bright.. brag about your believes, your values & your mission. Don't forget to add a pic of you in there..it helps customers form better connection.

It's also a platform to talk about things you can't always visually represent.
Example - If are someone who believes in Pro-Choice.. you can share your views here. Or talk about any other topic close to your heart. THIS not only helps you establish a connection with your tribe & also stand out from other boutiques in your niche.

  • SIZE GUIDE

Since it's an online boutique and customers can't see or try your products, having a SIZE GUIDE is a must. It will not only make running a boutique easy but it also reduces returns & unhappy customers.

  • SHIPPING POLICY

In times of Amazon Prime where customers are used to getting things the next day... you've got to clear on your store's shipping policies.

  • Do you offer free shipping on all orders?

  • Free shipping over a certain threshold?

  • Do you offer flat rate shipping?

  • Do you have carrier calculated shipping at checkout?

Be clear on what customers can expect. It’s important to choose the option that works in your favor as a small business.

  • RETURNS/REFUND POLICY

Just like shipping, it's essential to tell your customers what your exchange, return or refund policies are.

  • How long after receipt of a package will you accept returns and exchanges?

  • Will you accept for any reason or only if items are damaged?

  • Will you give money back refunds or only store credit?

Be sure to set a policy that works for both you & your customer. If you can't decide what to set up.. ask yourself would you shop from a store that had these policies?! If not.. you know what to do!

  • PRIVACY POLICY

No one wants to give their personal information to a business that will sell it or use it with ill intent. Just make sure to be clear on what information you collect about your customers, how you use it and why.

  • FAQs

Lastly the FAQ page. Setting FAQs is optional but if you have some info you want to share with your customers that can't be covered in the topics above, you can use this page to share it.

You might not know WHAT to add initially but while running your boutique, keep an eye on Qs you are getting asked frequently.. add them to this page so next time you get a message you can simply direct them to the page instead of having replying them. Saves time & allows you to work smarter NOT harder.
